Ngarrindjeri Native Title Federal Court Hearing has commenced, great turnout by the Ngarrindjeri community 🖤💛❤️

Native Title Update:

Setup has commenced, it is overcast but hopefully the rain holds off

Coffee is available from the Murray Bridge Community Club from now until 11 am so just head in there, coffee is free.

D-Caf coffee cart will be here from 11am

There's plenty of seating so head down to Sturts Reserve, Murray Bridge, with proceedings planned to kick off at 10am

Morning all, we're only one more sleep away from signing off on the Ngarrindjeri Native Title Claim, so exciting! Such a momentous occasion, the culmination of tireless work and advocacy by so many over the last 20 years!I'm so very proud to be a part of this!

Here are the details of tomorrow's events as they are currently planned including free morning coffee and BBQ lunch:

Location: Sturt Reserve, Murray Bridge, South Australia

9.30 am - come join us for FREE COFFEE thanks to the Rural City of Murray Bridge and The Davery.

10.15 am - Guests seated, outline of events

10.25 am - Welcome to Country, by Ngarrindjeri Elders Uncle Darrell Sumner and Uncle Major 'Moogy' Sumner

10.30 am - Formal Court proceedings

Delivery of Judgment

11.00 am - Presentation of Consent Determination to counsel for the applicants
and respondent parties.

Adjournment of Court proceedings.
