Hines Electrix Pty Ltd We are electrical contractors, passionate about renewable energy. We love solar, batteries, off grid Run by husband and wife team Matt and Sonya Hines.

Hines Electrix Pty Ltd started operations in Australia in 2009. We are based in the north east Victorian town of Myrtleford and cover the Alpine Shire and parts of Indigo Shire. Two of Matts brothers also run their own electrical contracting companies in New Zealand. Our main focus is Renewable energy systems, Grid connect and off-grid PV solar systems

Just installed this 4.4kW Enphase system. The panels on the shed, in the background, I installed 15 years ago. The old system was 190 watt panels, and the new system has 490watt panels. The old system had the best panels of the day (Suntech) and best inverter ever made imho (SMA Sunnyboy) and is performing like the day it was installed. Quality always pays 😎

Latest solar install just completed. I also installed the existing DC solar system back in early 2011. It was still going strong, proving that a quality system, while more expensive at the start, pays off in the end. So I just added the Enphase/Aiko system, which also measure the output on the old system
