The Tahbilk Farmers Market is on this Sunday, 28th June, from 10am–2pm in the Cellar Door Courtyard.

Spend a relaxed winter day among the vineyards, where local producers, seasonal fresh food and artisan goods come together in the heart of the estate.

Start your morning with brunch from 8am in the Estate Restaurant, or settle in later for a long, unhurried lunch overlooking the grounds. From there, wander through the Cellar Door for a tasting, relax with a glass of Tahbilk wine and live music, or take a stroll through our picturesque Wetlands.

However you choose to spend your day, it’s an invitation to slow down and enjoy Tahbilk at its best.

Tahbilk proudly cares for some of the oldest producing Shiraz vines on the planet.

Planted in 1860, before cars travelled our roads. Before homes were lit by electricity.

More than 165 years later, these remarkable vines have survived droughts, floods and the challenges that reshaped vineyards around the world, their roots reaching deep into Tahbilk's soils and their story woven into every vintage they produce.

While the world above changes, these vines continue their patient work - growing, ripening and reminding us that some of life's greatest treasures cannot be rushed.

Hidden beneath Tahbilk’s historic winery, our underground cellars have stood quietly for more than 160 years.

Constructed in the 1860s using local stone, handmade bricks and estate timber, they remain an integral part of our winemaking process today.

Step below ground and you'll notice it immediately — the cool, almost humid air, the earthy aroma of ageing timber and stone, and the stillness that has defined this space for generations.

Protected from the heat above, these cellars provide ideal conditions for wines to mature gently in barrel, allowing complexity, balance and character to develop over time.

It's a place that engages all the senses; where history lingers in the air and every barrel tells part of Tahbilk's story.

Today, with heavy hearts, we share the passing of a remarkable woman and much-loved matriarch of our Tahbilk family.⁠

Bonnie Purbrick, mum of Alister, Debbie & Mark Purbrick, passed away peacefully over the weekend.⁠
⁠
While we are deeply saddened by her passing, we are also incredibly grateful for the extraordinary life she lived. At 97 years of age, she was a strong, independent, passionate and inspiring woman whose influence will continue to be felt by all who knew and loved her.⁠
⁠
We invite family, friends and all those whose lives were touched by Bonnie to join us in celebrating her remarkable life on Wednesday 24th June:⁠
⁠
• 11:00am – Service at the Nagambie Presbyterian Church⁠
⁠
• 12:15pm – Burial at Nagambie Cemetery⁠
⁠
• 1:00pm – Wake at the Tahbilk Estate Restaurant⁠
⁠
The wake will be a time to come together in Bonnie's honour, sharing stories and treasured memories. It is an opportunity to reflect on the lasting impact she had on so many and to farewell her in a manner worthy of the extraordinary woman she was.⁠
