DCS started with designing, manufacturing and installing dust collection and extraction systems for the timber industry, and quickly earned an enviable reputation for innovative and efficient dust collection solutions for a wide range of industries and processes through Australia.

Today we have dust extraction systems in every state and territory of Australia, New Zealand, China and Asia Pacific countries.

About the Role:

Sheet metal Fabricators and light structural steel Fabricators are required at our Narangba premises on a casual to become full-time basis.

Job tasks and responsibilities:

Reading Plans / Drawings.
Fabricating to Specifications.
General Fitting and Assembly of fabricated items.
High-quality finish and detail
MIG Welding
Workshop Based and/or Site Work and Installation.
Able to work alone and within a team
Carrying out production requirements as shown on Job Sheets and Manufacturing Work Instructions.
Operating equipment and carrying out all work in a safe and efficient manner.

To be successful in this role you need:

Willingness to broaden your skillset
Organized with the ability to prioritize fluctuating workloads
Sound mechanical aptitude and knowledge.
Experience operating a range of machinery.
Demonstrate a high degree of flexibility with job tasks.
Ability to participate in ongoing training and be open to new ideas.
Proven safety and quality focus & Perform assigned duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with Company's Health & Safety policies & procedures.
Preferred/Advantageous Forklift, EWP, Confined Space, Working at heights Licences
Willingness to work as part of a team, and do whatever is required, to help achieve business targets.
Proven attention to detail and precision
Commitment to working full-time hours – Overtime available also

Mud wasp nests in your diaphragm valves is more common than you'd expect. I've seen this on hundreds of occasions, especially after long shut down periods.
