I made this video because I think we need it.

"Opportunities for Leadership from coronavirus" This week I've had the opportunity to coach leaders from across Asia. The virus is on everyone's minds with many leaders working from home. One question I've been asking is "What does this situation require from you as a leader right now? This has prompted some great thinking and some deep reflections.

I saw a video from the PM of Singapore addressing the people of Singapore about the virus and I though he exemplified great leadership in that video. He brought evidence that they had learned from SARS and talked about how they were applying it. He brought facts (comparing it to influenza) to put the current coronavirus into perspective and to manage fears and panic. He gave confidence in the supply chain for Singapore - they didn't need to stockpile masks, 2 minute noodles and toilet paper. He reinforced what people needed to focus on - washing hands etc, and again he gave confidence that they would come through this challenge.
I thought this was a great example of leadership.
