⚠️ A reminder to always read before you sign. Today, I met a family who believed they had signed a 30-day authority with a large agency, only to discover it was actually for 120 days. They were understandably shocked, especially after learning their property had previously been advertised as “Under Offer” without a signed contract in place with same agent .

Be cautious of common industry traps—promises of “off-market buyers,” inflated price expectations to win your business, or the lure of “free marketing” that may come with strings attached. Your home is one of your biggest assets. Make sure you understand every detail, ask the right questions, and work with an agent who values honesty, transparency, and your best interests above all else.
