All beeswax will gradually lighten over time. Here's why. 🐝

It comes down to two things — light and air. When beeswax is exposed to both over time, a natural process called oxidation occurs. The wax slowly loses its golden colour and fades to a softer, paler shade.

It doesn't affect the quality of your candle at all. It will still burn just as beautifully, and that natural honey aroma is still there. It's simply beeswax doing what natural wax does.

If you'd like to slow the fading down, keep your candle away from direct sunlight and out of very bright rooms when it's not in use. But honestly? A beautifully aged beeswax candle has a charm all of its own.

No synthetics, no stabilisers, no tricks. Just pure beeswax, exactly as nature made it.
