Wise Wines was established in 1991 by biochemist Dr Ron Wise. Our flagship range, Eagle Bay Wines, is an expression of our magic vineyard and is made from estate grown fruit. For our other ranges, our winemakers select fruit from WA’s premier cool climate viticulture regions. This freedom allows them to match the best grower for a particular varietal.

Spring has arrived, and with it, the first proper prune of the season in our vineyard, cutting back to two cordons on each vine.

Over the next couple of months, you'll find us out among the vines removing shoots we don't want and training the rest along the wires.

Our 2022 "Eagle Bay" Cabernet Sauvignon is made with the best handpicked fruit locally from Wilyabrup.

A small batch w**e, the quality of the fruit makes it great for aging. Just a few barrels, oaked for longer in new French oak.
