If you’ve ever set a business goal and then watched it collect dust… you’re not alone.

The problem isn’t motivation — it’s the system you use to get there.

Here are 5 steps to set goals you’ll actually achieve:
1️⃣ Get specific — vague goals = vague results
2️⃣ Break them down into bite-sized steps
3️⃣ Schedule them (this is where most people fail)
4️⃣ Measure your progress
5️⃣ Review and reset regularly

Personally, depending on the goals I have set myself for the month, I block out 1–3 mornings a week in my calendar for pure goal work — usually in 30-minute to 2-hour blocks, but will increase to 2 hours towards the end of the week if I feel I have fallen behind schedule.

Don't be afraid to say "No" to tedious tasks so you can spend on growing your business. This keeps me moving forward without feeling overwhelmed and your future self will be thanking you.

This week, I’m sharing my favourite ways to set goals that actually get achieved.

Because here’s the thing — writing a goal on paper doesn’t make it happen.
The secret is in the systems you build around it.

If you want your business to grow, don’t just set goals — systemise them:
✅ Break them down into clear, actionable steps
✅ Schedule those steps into your calendar (with deadlines!)
✅ Review and adjust regularly so you stay on track

Goals are just the destination. Systems are the roadmap that get you there.
