There was a time in my life when I thought healing meant I would never feel fear again…

Last week taught me otherwise.

After being the victim of an attempted armed robbery, every feeling of fear and unsafety came back.

For a moment it felt familiar.

Then I realised something, the event was happening in the present, but my nervous system was responding from the past.

The biggest gift healing has given me isn’t a life without challenges,

It’s the ability to recognise when an old wound of unsafety has been activated and know how to move through it without letting it become my reality.

This is why safety has become one of my core values.

Not just for myself, but for every one of my clients.

Healing isn’t about never being triggered.

It’s about knowing how to find your way back to yourself, when big things happen that rocks us to our core.

Others will call it activating.

The difference has never been about you. It has always been about what they choose to do with the reflection you’ve offered them.

So stop focusing on the people who resisted your light.

Start noticing the people who changed because of it.
