The last couple of months have been incredibly busy as we wrapped up another financial year.

Last weekend our team successfully delivered a range of projects across New South Wales, including an overhaul of an existing level crossing at Wagga Wagga, WE52 Sydney Trains worksites, works at DP World, the overhaul of the 2DA, 2DB and 2CB points at Cooks River, renewal works at Broken Hill, and Summit Tank. Most importantly, every project was completed safely and within budget—a testament to the dedication and professionalism of our team.

While many businesses specialise in supplying signalling labour, SJM Rail provides complete turnkey signalling solutions—from concept and design through to installation, testing and commissioning. This end-to-end capability allows us to deliver quality outcomes while maintaining control over every stage of a project.

A big thank you to our clients, partners and our hardworking team for another successful financial year. We’re looking forward to continuing to deliver safe, reliable and innovative signalling solutions across New South Wales and Victoria.

SJM Rail is pleased to announce that Transport for NSW has awarded us an extension of our TAO accreditation for Overhead Wiring (OHW).

This further strengthens SJM Rail's position in the market by bringing together expertise across low voltage, high voltage, signalling, communications and overhead wiring. By delivering these services under one roof, we continue to develop a multi-skilled workforce while providing our clients with integrated rail infrastructure solutions.

This capability also enables our partners and suppliers to work more effectively with SJM Rail, delivering a streamlined and robust electrical solution across the rail network.

Our Overhead Wiring team has already successfully delivered works at WE23 Chester Hill, WE35 Macquarie Fields, WE44 Leumeah, WE48 Blaxland, WE49 S2B, and most recently last weekend at Bardwell Park that saw upgrades to the existing OHW protection screens.

Congratulations to everyone involved in achieving this milestone. We look forward to continuing to support Transport for NSW and delivering safe, reliable and high-quality rail infrastructure solutions.

We recently took the SJM Rail team out for a team building day, where things got a little competitive — from Segway Olympics to axe throwing.

It was a great opportunity to step away from the day-to-day and spend time together as a team. The energy, enthusiasm and camaraderie on display is exactly what makes our team what it is.

Safe to say, there were some very competitive spirits… and a winning team to prove it.
