Large-format signage plays an important role in helping customers identify, locate and trust a business. But while signs are often treated as a “set and forget” asset, the reality is very different.

🏉🍗 EM Signs Delivers a Fresh New Face for KFC on Sydney’s Northern Beaches! 🍗🏉

If you’ve driven past KFC at Manly Vale or Frenchs Forest recently, you may have noticed something a little different…

The Colonel has temporarily stepped aside, making way for a local legend — Kieran Foran, the newly appointed Head Coach of the Manly Warringah Sea Eagles! 🦅

EM Signs was proud to manufacture and install these special promotional signs, transforming the iconic KFC frontage with a larger-than-life tribute to one of rugby league’s most respected figures.

Projects like this are a great reminder that signage isn’t just about branding — it’s about creating moments, sparking conversations, and connecting with local communities.

A big thank you to KFC and the project team for trusting EM Signs to bring this unique campaign to life.

📍 Locations:
• KFC Manly Vale
• KFC Frenchs Forest

What do you think — should the Colonel be worried about his job? 😄

🚧 Why Signage Materials Matter More Than You Think 🛠️

Your signs speak for your brand before you even say a word. But if they’re made with the wrong materials, that message could fade—literally. 💨

✔️ Materials designed for Australian conditions = longer-lasting signs

✔️ High-quality finishes = better first impressions

✔️ Durable substrates = less maintenance, more savings

Whether it's a pylon, building signage or outdoor wayfinding, using the right materials ensures your signage stays sharp, safe, and professional. Don’t let a great design fall flat because of poor material choices.

✨ Invest in quality. Let your signs do the talking—clearly and confidently.

🎉 A huge milestone has been achieved by our amazing friends at KFC, with the grand opening of their 800th store in Australia!

This exciting new location is situated in the thriving community of Oran Park, Sydney, and marks a significant moment in KFC's continued growth and success across the region.

A special shout-out and congratulations to Southern Restaurants Group for bringing yet another incredible store to life. The new Oran Park location stands as a testament to their dedication to delivering great customer experiences and iconic flavours to even more Australians. The store looks absolutely fantastic with its Australian-made signage! 🍗✨

EM Signs is extremely proud to be part of so many of these wonderful store openings after a three-decade partnership providing quality signage!

It serves as a visual representation of your brand, creating immediate recognition and reinforcing your company’s presence. Effective signage attracts attention and provides clear directions and information, enhancing the overall experience for clients, customers, and employees.

It’s an investment in visibility that can significantly influence how your business is perceived and remembered. Prioritising well-designed signage is key to making a strong, lasting impression.

In Australia’s harsh climate, your signage faces the elements daily—whether it's salty coastal air, intense UV rays, or heavy downpours. Galvanising your signage offers a robust layer of protection, ensuring it remains rust-free, strong, and looking great for years to come.

Not only does it extend the lifespan of your signs, but it also saves you money on maintenance and replacements, plus, a well-maintained sign reflects positively on your business, showing you care about quality and detail.

Does your current signage supplier offer you the protection of galvanising?

Invest in galvanising—it’s a smart move for long-term durability and a polished look.
