Ben started his first small business in 2005 and has since built a career across music production, live performance, hospitality and publishing. He's led businesses through significant operational change and worked with business owners across several countries on market expansion. He currently runs his own digital music production and publishing business alongside his work at The Business Centre.

For two decades Ben has been building, training and leading teams in the creative and hospitality sectors, and holds formal qualifications in business administration, marketing and training and assessment.

Jess grew up in a small family automotive business, learning every aspect of running one before building her qualifications in business, education and communication. She now works with future and current business owners on development and strategy, marketing and social media, customer service and operations, with particular expertise in social media strategy and personal branding.

Across the vocational education and adult learning sector, Jess has trained and assessed qualifications in business services, entrepreneurship and media and communications, holding numerous business qualifications alongside a Bachelor of Communications in Public Relations.

Pete's career spans retail, franchises and running several of his own small businesses, including building a national franchise chain from the ground up. For more than a decade he's delivered business start-up training and coaching at The Business Centre across government funded, community and commercial programs, helping countless Hunter Region entrepreneurs through the early stages of building their own operations.

His coaching focuses on the fundamentals that actually move the needle: solid financial management and marketing principles that drive repeat business and referrals.
