Kurri Kurri job all wrapped up

These cypress pine floors came up an absolute treat. Plenty of work went into bringing them back, but the final result speaks for itself.

Day 2 wrapped up on this cypress pine floor in Kurri Kurri

Final sanding and blending touch-ups completed, sealer down, then the final top coats applied using Urethane Coatings 2pak Water Kote Matt. The natural colour and character have come up unreal.

Day 1 on this cypress pine floor in Kurri Kurri

Started with 40 grit, followed by 60 grit, sanded the edges, then finished the main floor with 80 grit. Nails punched and puttied, ready to keep moving tomorrow.

Plenty more to come on this one.

Day 1 in Stroud.

The living room and entrance had self-leveller laid over the timber, so today was spent cutting it all back and beginning to level the floor. The boards are extremely old and hard, so the first cut was done with 24 grit at 45 degrees.

Still plenty of sanding to go, but the timber is already starting to show through.
