Our estate grown Hanging Rock Speckle Park beef is now available in very limited quantities in Cellar Door.
Raised right here on the estate and hung by Goldie Bestoke Butchers for three weeks to develop exceptional flavour and tenderness. We only process up to 10 head per year, making this truly small batch beef and rarely available.
Visit our Hanging Rock Cellar Door to purchase. We're open every day, 10am-5pm. This meat will be available fresh for the next week, or until sold out — get in quick!

Have you tried Hanging Rock Beef?

Our beef boxes are only released a few times each year—and they sell out quickly.

We process no more than eight head annually, making Hanging Rock Beef exceptionally rare and genuinely small-batch. We’re determined to produce the very best beef we can, raising our Speckle Park steers here on the estate. They are grass-fed, grown slowly for two years and, after processing, hung by our butcher for three weeks to develop exceptional flavour and tenderness.

Orders close at 9am on Thursday, 13 August, unless sold out beforehand.

Over the coming weeks, we're introducing the wonderful people who help make every visit to our Cellar Door so memorable. This week, meet Deb.

When we asked Deb to choose her favourite Hanging Rock wine, her answer came with a smile:

"Whether it's an unwooded Chardonnay, an elegant French-inspired modern style, or a good old-fashioned Chardonnay, Hanging Rock Winery does all three beautifully, and I enjoy them all.

But if I had to choose just one, it would be the Jim Jim Pinot Noir. It's an elegant, fruit-driven cool-climate Pinot, reminiscent of the wonderful wines of Central Otago in New Zealand.

That said, seeing we're in the middle of winter, the Heathcote Sparkling Shiraz is hard to go past. It's my pick for Christmas in July, Yule celebrations, or any occasion that calls for a great party starter."
