Meet the stars of Hanging Rock Winery... our Cellar Door A-Team.
Over the coming weeks, we're introducing the wonderful people who help make every visit to our Cellar Door so memorable. This week, meet Deb.
When we asked Deb to choose her favourite Hanging Rock wine, her answer came with a smile:
"Whether it's an unwooded Chardonnay, an elegant French-inspired modern style, or a good old-fashioned Chardonnay, Hanging Rock Winery does all three beautifully, and I enjoy them all.
But if I had to choose just one, it would be the Jim Jim Pinot Noir. It's an elegant, fruit-driven cool-climate Pinot, reminiscent of the wonderful wines of Central Otago in New Zealand.
That said, seeing we're in the middle of winter, the Heathcote Sparkling Shiraz is hard to go past. It's my pick for Christmas in July, Yule celebrations, or any occasion that calls for a great party starter."
If you'd like to discover why Deb loves these wines, visit us for a complimentary tasting (up to seven people). Bring the whole family—including your four-legged friends on a lead—relax in our all-weather marquee, and take in the spectacular views across the vineyard to Hanging Rock and Mount Macedon.
We're open 7 days a week, 10am–5pm.

Have you met Deb? We'd love to hear which Hanging Rock wine is your favourite in the comments.
