A recent project at Jubilee Framers shows that custom framing can go well beyond artwork and photographs.

We recently completed three custom interior finishes display boards for Sovereign Rise — White Haven, Warm Dune and Coastal Mist.

Each board brings together real carpet, timber, stone, tile, joinery and tapware samples within a carefully designed presentation, finished with precision-cut acrylic, custom graphics and warm walnut-toned framing.

We recently completed this corporate picture framing project for MNG at their Fortitude Valley office in Brisbane.

The project featured four striking A2 black-and-white athlete portraits, finished with white matboards, slim matte-black timber frames and UV70 UltraView glazing.

Once completed, the framed works were professionally installed across the timber feature wall, creating a strong, cohesive display that complements both the photography and the contemporary office interior.

It’s a great example of how thoughtful custom framing can elevate a corporate space while giving photographic artwork the presentation it deserves.

Custom Framing for Brisbane Racing Club

We recently completed a custom framing project for Brisbane Racing Club, creating and updating a collection of framed racing photographs celebrating some significant moments in Queensland racing.

The project included new framed presentations for Broadsiding and Spirit of Boom, along with updates to the existing Spicy Martini and Dalrello frames.

Our team handled the photographic preparation, image cropping, custom framing, precision-cut matboards and caption panels, with the aim of creating a consistent and professional presentation across the collection.

Two striking travel photographs, “Tree” and “Petra,” recently gave our team the opportunity to combine professional image preparation, large-format photographic printing and custom framing in one carefully coordinated project.

We printed both images on Ilford Metallic Gloss paper to enhance their colour, contrast and luminosity. Each print was mounted to a rigid 3 mm aluminium composite panel, fitted behind UltraVue anti-reflective glass and finished in a slim black custom frame.

The result is a refined, contemporary presentation that allows the detail and depth of each photograph to take centre stage.

Custom Architectural Finishes Boards for Frank Developments

We recently completed two custom-framed architectural finishes boards for Frank Developments’ ALBA and MAYA projects.

Each board brings together a carefully arranged selection of stone, timber, tile, carpet, glass, paint and joinery samples within a clean, deep white frame. We also prepared the custom headers, legends and numbered labels to ensure each finish could be clearly identified and presented professionally.

Custom Framing a Large Abstract Artwork on Paper

This large original abstract artwork needed a framing design that would complement its colour, texture and panoramic proportions without competing with the composition.

Our Jubilee Framers team selected a charcoal-stained hardwood frame to connect with the darker elements in the artwork. We paired it with a generous white matboard to create visual breathing space and give the piece a clean, contemporary finish.

As the artwork was an original work on paper, we carefully hinged and fitted it using professional framing materials rather than permanently mounting it to a rigid backing.

The completed frame measures approximately 1345 × 690 mm and creates a striking statement piece for a residential or commercial interior.

A recent custom framing project for a Brisbane office

We professionally printed this striking Lake Como photograph on Ilford Satin Lustre paper, then completed it with a generous white mat and a clean 20 mm white timber frame.

At approximately 940 × 1260 mm overall, the finished piece has the scale and presence needed to transform the office wall while keeping the presentation fresh and contemporary.

We recently completed this custom framed materials display board for the Murano property development.

The finished piece brings together timber, stone, tile, carpet, fabric and other architectural finishes in one clean, cohesive presentation. We also produced the custom legend and numbered markers to help turn the individual samples into a polished display for property sales presentations and client meetings.

Jubilee Framers recently completed a meaningful custom framing project for St Andrew’s War Memorial Hospital in Brisbane.

The project involved seven historical photographs honouring First Nations veterans and service members, each presented with oak frames, warm matboard, glazing and title wording. A B5 landscape plaque was also created to provide context for the display.

This was a respectful and cohesive presentation designed for a hospital environment, supporting remembrance, storytelling and reconciliation through custom framing.

Recently completed by Jubilee Framers in Kelvin Grove, Brisbane.

This custom framing project featured a beautifully enlarged sunset photograph, printed at approximately 900 x 675 mm to keep the full image without cropping.

For the framing, we used a black matte frame with a black outer mat and white inner mat, creating a bold gallery-style presentation that gives the photograph depth and contrast. The piece was finished with premium Ultra View glass, helping reduce reflection while keeping the image clear, sharp and vibrant.

It is a great example of how professional photographic printing, careful matboard selection and quality custom framing can transform a personal image into a finished artwork ready to display.
