Accounts Assistant (Receivable & Payable) – Flexible, Work From Home
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to support our growing business with accounts receivable and payable tasks.
This is a flexible, remote role suited to someone who enjoys working independently and keeping finances organised.
Hours: Approx. 15–25 hours per week
Location: Work from home (occasional in-person may be helpful but not essential)
Key responsibilities:
• Managing accounts receivable and payable
• Processing invoices and payments
• Following up outstanding accounts
• Reconciling transactions
• Assisting with general finance administration
• Supporting the team with reporting as required
About you:
• Experience in bookkeeping, accounts admin, or similar role
• Strong attention to detail
• Comfortable using accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB or similar)
• Reliable, organised, and able to work independently
• Good communication skills

Back to School 2026 – Important Collection & Delivery Information

Thank you for your patience while our team works hard packing school book orders for 2026. This is our busiest time of year, and we truly appreciate your understanding.

To help avoid long lines and congestion at our Back to School shop, collections have been staggered.

Please wait for your confirmation email — this will clearly state whether your pack is ready for collection from 19 January or from 26 January.

Key Collection Details
• BTS Shop: 4/4 Broadland Drive (old Importer building)
• Collections commence from Monday, 19 January 2026, only if you have received an email confirming your pack is ready
• Delivery orders will be dispatched before the school year starts (delivery dates/times cannot be guaranteed at this stage)

Opening Hours
• Monday–Friday (19 Jan – 14 Feb): 10am–3pm
• Thursday 29 Jan: open until 6pm
• Saturday 31 Jan: 10am–2pm
• Saturday 7 Feb: 10am–2pm

Important Information
Due to ongoing supplier delays, some items may still be on backorder. If this occurs, packs may be collected with items missing. All outstanding items will be delivered directly to the school once they arrive.

We ask all parents to communicate with kindness and respect. Rude, abusive, or disrespectful behaviour toward our staff will not be tolerated.

Due to delays in construction at our new Back to School site, our usual opening timelines have been impacted.
As a result, school book collections will commence from this Monday 19 January 2026.

Delivery to the school is scheduled for late January.
As we are sure you can appreciate, we receive a lot of emails & phone calls about BTS and unfortunately it is physically impossible to respond to all of them. We hope the below answers some of your questions.

1. My pack is missing an item:
We have experienced significant delays on receiving some of our stationery and textbooks and as a result you may receive your pack with items missing. Whilst we have tried to avoid this, unfortunately in some cases our suppliers have indicated that the product is on backorder. If you are missing an item, we will deliver it directly to the school when it arrives. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. We appreciate your understanding and patience whilst we work through this very busy time.

2. I need to order my books.
You can either:
1. You can order and pay online and pay for freight
2. You can order online and pick up from our Back To School store.
3. You can pick the books yourself in store once we have opened (the 19th of jan)

3. I cannot find the school code what can I do?
For security reasons we are unable to give out school codes over the phone or email. Please contact your school.

4. When is my pack going to be ready for collection?
Once a pack is ready, an email will be sent to the registered email to advise it is ready for collection. We will ask you for this email when you attend to collect. Most packs will be available from mid-January. Some delays on product have occurred and we are working with suppliers to gain timelines and information. This will be communicated to parents affected as it comes to hand. We will be open from Monday 19 January 2026 - 14th February.

5. When is my pack going to be delivered?
If you have opted for delivery, these will be delivered in the next few weeks. Again, you receive a confirmation email once it is being dispatched.

Note: All confirmation will be sent approximately 24-48 before either being able to be picked up or will be shipped.
