You don't have to be burnt out to benefit from supervision.
Maybe you're just a little stuck.
Craving more peer connection.
Wanting space that's actually yours, separate from your workplace and your manager or searching for connection with peers in your private practice.

Group supervision starting July for social workers.

Get a bit of that spark back, connect with fellow social workers, slow your thinking and just enjoy creating space for yourself.

Online. Small group. Great value for money.

Online sessions, as a one off or for regular supervision. I will guide and challenge you to reflect on practice, unpack ways you work with clients, discuss workplace challenges and to support your career development.

Last call for group supervision starting on Thursday!
Join me, an experienced clinical supervisor and group facilitator, having been a social worker for 20 years and supervising for the past 14 years.

People that come along to group supervision say that afterwards they feel inspired, have new things to take back to their practice, feel energised and feel less alone.

Group Supervision begins in February.

The leaders group is now full, with 2 places remaining in the 12-month group supervision program.

This format is designed for professionals who want:
• Six sessions over twelve months, allowing space without overload
• Peer connection and shared reflection
• A relaxed, professional environment that supports real conversations
• Fully online sessions for flexibility and accessibility

Group supervision offers a structured space to pause, reflect, and learn alongside others who understand the realities of the work.

If you’d like more information or want to explore whether it’s a good fit, you’re welcome to get in touch.

Making a long career in this work is something I think about a lot.

Not just as a supervisor, but from my own experience working in the sector, from the research about why people stay, leave or burnout, and from the many conversations I’ve had with people I’ve supervised over the years.

What I hear again and again is this:
People don’t leave because they don’t care enough.
They leave because the systems we work in make it hard to stay.

High workloads. Constant change. Feeling disconnected from values. Doing important work in environments that don’t always support long-term sustainability.

This is why I’m running a free webinar, Making a Long Career in This Work, a reflective session for social workers and helping professionals.

We’ll explore what actually helps people stay, including:
• Why so many of the challenges in this work are systemic, not personal failings
• The role of connection and inspiration in long-term careers
• Why creativity and thinking differently matters more than we’re often encouraged to believe
• How growth and development often means stepping slightly outside your comfort zone, with support

If you’ve been quietly wondering how long you can keep doing this work, you’re not alone.

You’re very welcome to join us.https://www.lizandrewbrake.com/webinars

One of my 'ins' for this year is connection.

It's a way that I get my energy, feel inspired and where I think up new ideas.

If this is something you have been thinking about as you heading into the new year, how you can feel more inspired, more motivated, learn new things and connect with different people then consider Group Supervision.

It is a dedicated space to think outl oud (hear others think out loud), reflect, slow you thinking and be around people that get the reality of the work.

I've got a few more spots for two groups starting at the end of Feb
- 1 spot for leaders group supervision
- 3 spots for 12 month group supervision (still the 6 sessions but spread over the year).

If you're thinking about it, send me a DM and we can have a chat. https://www.lizandrewbrake.com/group-supervision

If you are wanting to create opportunities for more slow thinking, reflaction and connection but just can't figure out how- come and join me and others for group supervision in 2026. I can not talk more highly of these groups, the inspiration, the connection with others and sharing.

I currently have:
• 1 spot left in my Leaders Group Supervision, and
• 3 spots left in my 12-month Group Supervision cohort.

I’m pretty much at capacity for 1:1 supervision, so group spaces are where it's at.

Heading in into this year, if I'm honest I'm feeling tired!
Yes I did have a lovely break, including some time camping (where I managed to read two books)

This year I don't want to focus on pursuing or pushing like I might have done in previous years, I just want to be connected to others, focus on enjoyment and continuing to grow personally and professionally- nothing dramatic.

Also to sit in the fact that I am grateful that I have my health, for my family & friends, being able to watch my daughter grow and for the work I get to do.

What is your motto for 2026?
