The REIV has responded to the Premier's open letter to CEO Toby Balazs, published on social media over the weekend, after it appeared to misrepresent the REIV's position on property price transparency.

The REIV remains committed to transparency and fairness in Victoria's property market. We support stronger measures to eliminate underquoting, but they must be practical, evidence-based and deliver better outcomes for buyers, sellers and agents.
