An historic day in the winery — The ‘Kathrin’ is being laid down for Methode Champenois bottle fermentation.

Crafted from McLaren Vale Grenache, this Blanc de Noir white sparkling wine is something truly special. Bubbly, bright, elegant, and beautifully expressive, it’s now entering the next stage of its journey.

Varney + Friends is back!

On Sunday, 7th June, we’re bringing together three of McLaren Vale’s most respected producers for a special afternoon of wine, conversation, and regional celebration.

We’re delighted to welcome our friends from Bondar Wines and Thistledown for an intimate tasting event showcasing highly acclaimed wines and the people behind them.

Your ticket includes a tasting experience with the producers, a seasonal grazing plate by our friends at Pillar of Salt, and the opportunity to chat with the makers. It is also a great chance to stock up your cellar for the winter months ahead.

Sunday 7 June | 12pm – 4pm

Another vintage. Another chapter in our story. The 2026 harvest is wrapped up and here’s a glimpse into the season that unfolded across the vineyards and the winery:

•30.44 tonnes picked over 7 varieties
•22 individual picks including 3 ‘new’ Old Vine Grenache vineyards
•Over 50 individual ferments
•54 days between first pick and last
•Countless contemplative sunrises
•A few beers
•Not enough sleep
•Lots of satisfaction
