An historic day in the winery — The ‘Kathrin’ is being laid down for Methode Champenois bottle fermentation.

Crafted from McLaren Vale Grenache, this Blanc de Noir white sparkling wine is something truly special. Bubbly, bright, elegant, and beautifully expressive, it’s now entering the next stage of its journey.

We can’t wait to share it with you, but for now, it’s time to let the magic slowly happen.

Varney + Friends is back!

On Sunday, 7th June, we’re bringing together three of McLaren Vale’s most respected producers for a special afternoon of wine, conversation, and regional celebration.

We’re delighted to welcome our friends from Bondar Wines and Thistledown for an intimate tasting event showcasing highly acclaimed wines and the people behind them.

Your ticket includes a tasting experience with the producers, a seasonal grazing plate by our friends at Pillar of Salt, and the opportunity to chat with the makers. It is also a great chance to stock up your cellar for the winter months ahead.

Today we officially unveil our 2024 Limited Release Grenache. Sourced from three distinguished sites in McLaren Vale from old bush vines aged 70+ years. We are deeply humbled to see this new release has just been awarded a remarkable 96 points.
