Are you a not-for-profit (NFP) or non-government organisation (NGO) with a challenge you're trying to work through?

We'd love to hear from you. We know NFP and NGOs are tackling some of Australia's most complex social, health and environmental challenges - often with small teams and limited resources, but an enormous amount of dedication and heart.

For 12 years, TSD has worked alongside NFPs and NGOs as a values-aligned partner to support work in social and environmental impact. Often this includes us working with those NFP who have big things to deliver, on limited resources. Our probono bank allows us to offer a mix of contracted and probono hours.

Whether it's a defined project or ongoing strategic support, we're here for to a conversation about how we might help.

A year ago we started working with an amazing organisation, MBC Action Australia, to co-design and create the new Metastatic Breast Cancer Information and Support Hub. Today the Hub comes to life 💜.

The Hub is a dedicated online resource for people living with metastatic breast cancer (MBC), and their families, carers and supporters. It’s the first of its kind for MBC in Australia, dedicated to sharing practical resources that have been curated by lived experience. It’s a place with trusted information and peer support pathways, for a community that has long needed a place to turn to.

It’s also a resource for health professionals, including breast cancer nurses, who support people with information when they’re first diagnosed and as they navigate their way through living with MBC.

This work has meant so much to us personally and professionally. We’ve put in more than $60,000 of probono hours and professional services above our contracted work, supporting each stage of building the resource database, the co-design, web build, user testing and developing assets to share it far and wide.

It’s a great honour to be part of it, in part with memory to our Managing Director, Kate’s, best friend Jane Illin who passed away just a few months ago after living with MBC for 15 years. This work is close to our hearts and driven by impact.

If you know someone who could benefit from the Hub, please share it widely.

This World Environment Day, we're thinking about the connection between community and environment, and the work we get to do every day that bridges the two. 🌍

Through our partnership with the Queensland Government's Resilient Homes Fund, we've been out across SEQ talking to homeowners about flood resilience.

More resilient homes mean less flood damage, less waste, and more sustainable communities. It's the kind of work that reminds us why we do what we do. 💚

Yesterday marked the end of National Reconciliation Week with this year’s theme being All In, and we reflected on some of the work we’ve been lucky enough to be a part of.

We’ve worked with First Nations communities to develop culturally appropriate, plain English resources to communicate changes to aged care, and we’ve spoken to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people about the National Housing and Homelessness Plan, Foundational Supports and Thriving Kids to make sure Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander voices are heard.

National Reconciliation Week is a reminder that genuine reconciliation isn’t passive. It’s showing up every day to listen, learn and act; to be All In for reconciliation.

Did you know outdoor workers can face up to 10 times more UV exposure than indoor workers? ☀️

We partnered with Cancer Council NSW to do something about that.

Together, we created a practical digital toolkit to help Australian workplaces protect their staff and volunteers from UV risk - covering everything from understanding your legal obligations to building a lasting sun safety culture.

We made sure it would actually work in the real world by testing the messaging with end users through focus groups before anything was finalised.

The result is a resource that's accessible and usable for any organisation, big or small.

We're proud of this one. 🧡

Today is National Sorry Day. We acknowledge the pain and honour the strength and resilience of Stolen Generations survivors. The forced removal of First Nations children from their families left wounds that continue to be felt across generations.

National Sorry Day is a time to acknowledge that truth, honour Stolen Generations survivors and their families and recommit ourselves to healing and reconciliation. Almost 3 decades on from the tabling of the Bringing them home report, it's also important to focus on action that delivers real change.

We encourage everyone to visit the Healing Foundation's National Sorry Day pages to find out more: https://healingfoundation.org.au/stolen-generations/national-sorry-day/

It's National Volunteer Week 🙌

This week we're celebrating the people who show up, give their time, and make our communities stronger.

Earlier in May was Heart Week, and we’re proud to be supporting the newly launched Josh-4-Hearts Foundation - helping protect young athletes from sudden cardiac arrest 🏃‍♂️⚽.

Founded by Drs Taiye and Joe following the loss of their son Josh at just 14 years old, the Foundation is focused on heart screening and improving emergency response in sporting communities 🚑 ❤️‍🩹.

We’ve been honoured to support the Foundation with branding, campaign resources, communications and launch support - and it’s amazing to already see the resources appearing around Canberra fields 🙌.

Tourism Noosa's Tread Lightly program gave us the opportunity to help revegetate our local Noosa Biosphere trails down in Cooran!

The event helps provide shade trees for walkers, assist with erosion mitigation and improve the habitat for local koalas and other wildlife.

Thanks to Tourism Noosa and the team at Noosa and District Landcare for such a great morning!

2,277 sleeps until Brisbane 2032 – and we're already so excited!

Not just because the 2032 Games are happening in our own backyard, but because of the opportunities they are creating for local businesses like ours.

Our team members Patrick and Lilly recently attended an information session on procurement opportunities, where a standout speaker panel delivered a key message - local SMEs are in the box seat for contracts that arise.

Speakers included Deputy Premier Hon. Jarrod Bleijie MP, Games Minister Hon. Tim Mander MP, Small Business Minister Hon. Steve Minnikin MP, Sunshine Coast Mayor Rosanna Natoli, and Brisbane 2032 Procurement Director Rob McRuvie.

As a Southeast Queensland-based SME with a team of sport enthusiasts, we're excited about the opportunities ahead.

If you have a project that could use support in relation to sport or the Games, now's a great time to reach out to the team at [email protected]
