Well done to our own James McIntyre for sharing the sustainability message with our friends at the Office for Small and Family Business ππ
Weβre all aware of the need to be more sustainable in business practices β customers are calling for it, net zero is approaching and we all want to do what we can for the environment. π
OSFB was proud to host a panel discussion on sustainability for small businesses in the tourism industry this afternoon at the annual Tourism Industry Council South Australia - TICSA.
Facilitated by Kathryn Calaby, the panel included James McIntyre 2XE, Wendy Bevan KESAB environmental solutions, Tony Sharley Murray River Trails and Laura Herrero Green Industries SA.
If you missed it, here were the top 3 takeaways from the discussion:
π Educate yourself on sustainability - arm yourself with knowledge and get a good overview on what it means to be a sustainable business.
π‘ Engage and connect - create connections and network with like-minded businesses in your community. Tap into new knowledge, resources and tools to identify new opportunities for sustainable solutions.
β»οΈ Be curious - where can you reduce waste in your small business? Identify areas where you can reduce, reuse or recycle materials.
