A windy dry Spring has segued straight into summer-like conditions. A walk around the garden which needs to be constantly watered.

A coach load of ladies and gentlemen from Hervey Bay Citizens Centre visited us for a buffet lunch today after spending time at Bamboo Land in Howard and shopping in the Childers Main Street precinct.
Lots of eating, w**e education, garden strolling and recipe sharing. Such a great and positive-minded group of people. A pleasure to look after.

Lovely high tea for a friendship reunion. We served inside the cellar door so guests wouldn’t feel too chilly.

Then it was clean up and recovery! Thanks millions to the workers and volunteers and especially all the super visitors who came from far and wide.

Finally, Sunday found us on the Bruce Highway enjoying a myriad of sights, sounds and delectable food aromas. Again, thank you for our wonderful support team. Many, many people had a fantastic time in what was a perfect example of Qld winter weather.
