🚨 IMPORTANT WAGE UPDATE FOR EMPLOYERS 🚨
The Fair Work Commission has announced a 4.75% increase to Modern Award wage rates, effective from 1 July 2026.

In addition, the C13 classification will be phased out, increasing the minimum award wage for ongoing employees to $26.44 per hour ($1,004.90 per week), with entry-level employees (up to 6 months) receiving a minimum of $25.74 per hour ($978.10 per week).

Businesses that employ staff under Modern Awards should review their payroll systems, employment contracts, classifications, and budgeting arrangements now to ensure compliance before the changes take effect.
