From 1 April to 30 June 2026, the fuel tax credit rate for petrol and diesel is 20.6 cents per litre.

This change is due to the 60.9% temporary reduction in fuel excise. If you claim fuel tax credits, this update may affect your next BAS.

Payday Super starts 1 July — for small businesses, the real impact is cash flow.

Super will need to be paid with every pay run, removing the buffer many businesses have relied on. On top of that, the final quarterly payment is also due in July, meaning some employers could be hit with up to 4 months of super in one go.
