I don’t need to reiterate how tragic the events over the last month have been for many Australians whom have suffered from recent and are still suffering from the ongoing Bushfires.

I am hosting a cheese and wine degustation for Friday the 17th January to raise funds.

The line-up will include a range of local Red, white and Sparkling wines on offer, paired with select cheeses and a silent auction of some bushfire effected wines.

It will be a fun and interactive event and I can guarantee that you will learn something you didn’t know.

The tasting will take place over 2 sessions in the North Melbourne Boardroom (12 people max per session) with a time period of 5:30pm – 6:20pm and 6:30pm – 7:20pm.

The cost of each session will be $50 per head with 100% of funds raised going to the Redcross Bushfire appeal (Which is handing out cash donations to those affected).

Numbers are limited to 12 people per session, so you will need to get in quick.

The Barbaresco region and wine is not as famed as Barolo, though contains the same grape . Other popular and delicious varieties grown here include and which are considered to be more of an everyday less complex wine, as stated by vinieters of the region though are gaining popularity.
