Anyone notice siddament support getting slower and taking longer? also why are there no phone numbers or things to call?
so look valid questions, I have been cooked with a massive influx of orders and support requests going along with those orders, I always try to get back within the day or within 12 hours of the first ticket, if its people asking for free s**t or sponsorships it takes longer, hiring a person to do CS is pretty easy but most of these requests are pretty basic, the complex ones are Purchase orders and school orders but its being streamlined, I am looking at tickets less than I used to before but I try to get them done in one - two responses.
I hate delegating things and im not trying to save money or anything but im pretty much the bottle neck here but thats changing starting July 1st ๐, delegation is a requirement to scale and sustain growth im finding, as much as I want to automate and do it all myself cs sucks and some jobs around the warehouse are easier with more people then less,
you get some absolute aliens whos first day on earth was yesterday which seem to be lacking any form of functionals brain cell(s) as you regularly see from the facebook posts from CS.
Phone calls are also coming back you will be able to call in soon and actually talk to someone who wont call you blind for not looking at the flashing red text on the site that says when a restock is happening, ive done CS for the whole 7 years repetitive stuff is actually dreadful, the main reason behind no phone calls is, i have a mad stutter which i have randomly picked up again and I talk faster then Eminem can rap so phone calls could have just been a msg or support ticket that I can easily fall back on and remember. I used to work in a call center taking 20-40 calls 5 days a week 7 months straight to fund siddament back in 2021-2022, I actually spoke understandable and slow english ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Phone calls answered between 9-5 like a regular business will not be answered by me it will be someone else and then if you need information and your ready to decipher the English language i seem to speak and are ready to be called stupid you can call the Siddament afterdark line which is my phone here 1/5 chance I answer i hate phone calls texts are fine 5pm-9am
We are doing a crap load of orders and growing crazy fast everytime we restock, its not a good excuse, as you scale stuff like this should be sorted but I have no idea what im doing lmao
July 1st onwards we are fully bringing on a person who has experience managing 40 people, delegating tasks and is good at hiring people to start expanding faster sustainably inline with the new company we are opening for the local filament production.
There is a very high chance things go to s**t before they get better but nothing is changing orders wise its just the CS you will see the biggest change as this person has already been helping me out for the last few months without a change on the frontend. CS is the one main thing facing customer side and its the only interaction most people have with siddament so ill still be watching till I fully get rid of me doing CS and only escalations. The good news is once im more free to actually not do cs and follow stuff up I can keep building dumb stuff no one will ever use.
