PMDL Architecture + Design We are a creative studio that works across three key disciplines including Architecture. Interior Design. Masterplanning. Business is about people.

Our practice is built around three fundamental tenets:
•We think before we draw
•We work to your outcomes not our agenda

We draw on our combined skills, which injects value and creative opportunity at every step of the journey. We are passionate about investing in trusted client relationships. This enables us to deliver bespoke design solutions that work to enrich our client’s projects and the end users’ lives and experiences. We are committed to working together to deliver results that consistently surpass expectations, working to make a significant difference to how everyone uses, experiences and enjoys inhabited spaces. PMDL has grown in both scale and reputation for in excess of twenty-five years. We have studio locations in Sydney, Melbourne and Hong Kong, working as one design practice. We work collaboratively and draw on our broad team expertise and experience from across our studios. Harmony Day is all about celebrating our cultural diversity and promoting inclusiveness. It’s about appreciating the different backgrounds, traditions, and beliefs that make us who we are. It promotes respect and the idea that people of all different cultures can make a valuable contribution.
Similarly International Women’s Day celebrate and promotes  womens unique contributions to the world. It aims to break stereotypes and smash barriers which stifle an even playing field for genders. Each year internationals womens day have a theme this year it is inspire inclusion. So it fits nicely with the Harmony day theme, diversity and inclusiveness, hence why we are celebrating together.

The William Clarke College masterplan and Bryson Building proposal have received State Significant Development Application determination of consent!
PMDL embarked on a masterplan process for the Kellyville campus back in 2017, which involved an in-depth review of the school’s facilities and facilitating comprehensive consultations with various school user groups. The outcome of the masterplan clearly points to a new STEAM facility, resulting in the delivery of the first major new facility on-site in recent years—the Branwhite Centre, completed in 2020.
Years later, PMDL again worked closely with the College and the project team to re-examine and refine the masterplan against an updated strategic vision. The outcome formed the basis of the State Significant Development submission.
The proposal includes the detailed design of a new 5-storey teaching and learning facility, a new activated and dynamic performing arts precinct, a fit-for-purpose multipurpose pavilion, and major improvements to on-site traffic, circulation, and site landscape.
We are proud contributors to be a part of delivering a considered, tailored masterplan and proposed staged development at the campus and excited to embark on the next phase of project delivery.

We acknowledge the Dahrug people as the Traditional Custodians of the land upon which William Clarke College stands. We wish to pay our respects to their Elders, past, present, and emerging.

In light of Geelong Design Week, McGlashan Everist has a legacy of producing public works throughout greater Geelong. From the Deakin Woolstores, to the Carousel and even the Potato Shed venue, McGlashan Everist created works over their long history that have become icons for Geelong and continue to be influential in our designs as PMDL MEA today.

At first floor of the Star of the Sea Heritage Wing the convent cells, occupied as individual staff offices, were demolished creating flexible learning and gathering spaces for senior students with visible clusters of staff adjacent sharing access to the original veranda. A sanctuary space links the Chapel and provides a place for student reflection.

A new entrance and Chapel connection enabled new amenities, hospitality and staff dining in the earliest building on the site. External accretions were removed to create a sunny new outdoor learning and gathering space shared by staff and students.

The New Learning Building is a stand-alone addition to Mentone Park Primary School, comprising four connected learning
spaces, each with external access to natural outdoor learning areas, clustered around a central collaboration zone.

This first stage of an endorsed masterplan sets the stage for are development and reinvigoration of a growing school, redefining their identity in relation to site history, design with respect for Country and First Nations culture, and the School's vision for modern collaborative learning.
