The lessor makes no representations about the availability of telephone lines, internet lines or any other communications services to the premises.

The tenant must make his or her own enquiries regarding the availability, cost and/or installation of those services.

The tenant is allowed to install and/or attach cabling, telephone lines and/ or communications lines to the premises provided no damage is done to the premises.

If at the end of the residential tenancy the lessor requests the cabling and/or communications lines to be removed, the tenant must remove them and make good any damage caused by that removal. If any cabling, telephone lines and/or communications lines installed or attached by the tenant are left remaining at the premises or attached to the premises at the end of the tenancy, with the lessor’s consent, those items become the property of the lessor.

S is for Strata…

A strata complex is a group of properties that all share the same common area. They all have different set ups from strata complex to strata complex. There are many differences including unit entitlements and who is responsible for what.

Owners pay strata levies to maintain the common grounds and pay for accounts that relate to all owners.

Strata meetings are held to discuss the common areas to ensure the grounds are being maintained.

If you would like any information with regards to strata properties please give send me a message
