Nowra Return and Earn will be closed Good Friday, Easter Saturday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

We will be open as usual on Tuesday, 7 April 2026 for you to return all your holiday cans and bottles.

Another of our regulars is local Scott, today our team Matthew from our team, gave him a demonstration of how the machines work and the overall process.

Scott collects from 3-4 local businesses who gladly donate to him to help reduce their reliance on waste disposal services and the cost they can incur.

Everyone is always welcome at our drive-in automated depot, so come on over and try us.

Meet one of our local regulars, Paul.

He was curious about how our machines worked. So Matthew gave him a walkthrough of how the singulator sets them into a single file onto the conveyors that then go through the scanner which automatically sorts by type and counts them to work out the value owed back.

All fairly straight forward but still pretty impressive to see it working through hundred of containers so fast.

Greenwell Point Men’s Shed are a regular customer at our Nowra Drive-in Return and Earn depot.

The funds they raise go back to the men’s shed for work they do to support others in the community.

These are a great bunch of guys and we welcome their ongoing support and attendance. Plus they even build their own cage to stop the bottles and cans escaping.

We are always happy to help organisations use our automated Return and Earn depot to help raise funds for themselves. Just drop in if you'd like to have a chat.

The guys from Sussex Inlet Marine Rescue came by the other day to claim their deposits on the containers they collect.

Collecting bottles and cans helps to fund their voluntary operations. So next time you're down that way why not drop off any containers with them.

We are always very happy to help any organisation or charity who want to use our depot to claim back deposits. Whether its a bag full or a Ute full of bins our staff at our drive in depots makes light work of it and all the 10c are paid straight into your bank.

Vinnies needs volunteers to help in our Nowra Return and Earn depot, could this be you?

By volunteering, you’ll be joining a friendly team, learn new skills, work in a positive environment dealing direct with the public, and be helping to make a difference to those in the community who need it most.

We have a range of roles within our depots, including customer services, forklift drivers, pick-up and delivery drivers, store person and general duties.

Our local depots are proud to be part of such a great scheme, which continues to grow from strength to strength.

Our 10 drive-in automated depots currently process about 3 million containers and payout around $300,000 to the public every week.
