When History Repeats in the Best Way Possible

​Over a decade ago, a client at Herron Coorey asked if we could give his son, James, a leg up in between plumbing jobs.

We brought James on at Keys, gave him some site work, and supported him as he built his career.

​Fast forward 10 or so years: James is now a Site Foreman for Matthew Bedford Nicholas Bedford from Bedford Built—and he’s coming to us to order workers for his own sites.

​But the story doesn’t stop there.
​Around 10 years ago, Ben O'Shea came to work for us as a labourer/carpenter.

We helped Ben transition across various clients until he eventually landed at Herron Coorey as a Supervisor.

Just recently, Ben reached out asking if we could give his son—who happens to be a plumber—a opportunity on site.

​On Monday, Ben’s son steps onto one of our client sites as a skilled labourer.

​Seeing a supervisor who used to work for you ask you to mentor and place his own son is something special.

Whether or not history repeats itself completely and I one day I have Ben's son ordering workers from us, Doesn't matter!

The Nationally Recognised unit CPCCDE5001 Conduct air monitoring and clearance inspections for asbestos removal work is required for any person wishing to obtain an Asbestos Assessors licence from their relevant state regulator.

Our courses include participants assessing a full friable asbestos removal enclosure, inspection and testing of negative air extraction units and decontamination units, full smoke and pressure testing of the enclosure to ensure competency. ✅

Course elements and performance criteria include:
📋 Plan for assessment process of asbestos removal
📐 Prepare to collect site measurements and other data
📊 Use measuring devices to collect site information and data
🧪 Complete the monitoring process
📝 Evaluate and document results of monitoring process according to accredited laboratory requirements

REQUIREMENTS: 🪪
