Ever had Auto Orient put your model on a face you didn't want? 😅

In Part 9 of our Bambu Studio Toolbar Tutorial Series, we're taking a look at the Lay on Face tool.

Instead of manually rotating your model to get the right face onto the build plate, Lay on Face lets you simply select the face you want and Bambu Studio does the rest!

We also explain the difference between Convex Hull and Triangular Facet modes and when each can be useful.

One less thing to manually rotate! 🙌

🛠️ Bambu Studio Toolbar Tutorial - Part 5 - Variable Layer Height!

Ever printed a curved or rounded model and thought, “Why does that look like a staircase?” 😂

That’s where Variable Layer Height can help!

Instead of using the same layer height throughout the entire print, this tool allows you to use smaller layers in areas that need more detail, such as curves and slopes, while keeping larger layers elsewhere to help save printing time.

In Part 5, we’re taking a look at how to use Variable Layer Height, including the Detail/Speed controls, Adaptive mode, Smooth mode and manual adjustments.

This is Part 5 of our Bambu Studio Toolbar Tutorial Series, so follow along as we work our way through all the tools in the toolbar!
