Ever heard of building application costs that keep growing? then read on ....
I can tell you that it doesn’t take long for application costs to blow out if you are given an unrealistic estimate at the start.
Getting the full picture is such an important first step in any building application process.
It is very evident to me that people are not aware of the full costs of a modern-day building application. Councils have been for some time now, moving away from internal assessment and shifting liability onto external consultants. The downside being that every consultant adds to the cost of the application.

I love watching the construction of a double storey home. So much work happens behind the scaffold and then all of a sudden, the scaffold comes down and reveals the hidden gem. This duplex project is still in its scaffolding covered stage, hiding all the work going on in the background.
