📢 We’re Hiring: Experienced Bookkeeper / BAS Preparer

XBG is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / BAS Preparer to join our team, starting early June 2026.

We are seeking someone who:

✅ Is experienced in bookkeeping and BAS preparation
✅ Is proficient in Xero and Hubdoc
✅ Is confident working with numbers
✅ Has excellent attention to detail
✅ Loves numbers and accuracy
✅ Can work independently and unsupervised
✅ Communicates well with team members and clients
✅ Is happy to assist and support junior staff
✅ Is reliable, willing, and able to work
✅ Is available 3 days per week

This role would suit someone organised, detail-focused, and confident in bookkeeping systems who enjoys working with numbers and being part of a supportive team.

📅 Start date: Early June 2026
🕒 Availability: 3 days per week

Do you know your way around BAS, IAS, Super, and can keep accounts neat as a pin? ✨ Do you like a challenge & working with a dynamic friendly team that enjoys eating cake on a weekly basis!

We’re looking for someone who:
✔ Has solid bookkeeping experience
✔ Knows Xero very well & can navigate around it unsupervised
✔ Has some skills with Hubdoc, QBO & MYOB
✔ Is detail-obsessed and loves getting things right
✔ Can work minimum 30 hours/week from our Townsville home office

We are looking for a highly-skilled Bookkeeper in Townsville to join our team to assist with BAS Preparation!
Position: Casual (with potential for permanent placement after initial three-month trial period)
Location: Office-based in Oak Valley - Townsville
What we are looking for:
*Experience managing multiple clients across various industries
*Minimum of 3 years of experience.
*Intermediate/high level of bookkeeping skills.
*Strong skills in using Xero (required), QuickBooks, and MYOB (preferred).
*Experience with Hubdoc, Dext and Trello preferred.
*Excellent Communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
*The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
*Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping qualification or currently studying preferred but not required.
