We supply plants to a number of retailers including Bunnings Warehouse and retail garden centers Birnam Nursery is a family owned and operated wholesale plant production nursery, located 30 minutes south of Perth in WA. We specialize in indoors such as Alocasias, Calatheas, Pothos, Philodendrons, and much more. We stock a large range of shade and patio plants from Gardenias to Azaleas, as well as

a wide variety of ferns. The nursery is owned and run by Terry Bentley, with the help of a team of 15 staff

we are looking for an all rounder / handy person to join our team ,

job requirements as follows-
must be able - to use power tools
work at heights
work unsupervised
work in all weather conditions
you will be required to assist our handy man and also help with potting or other nursery work when needed .
Hours are 7- 3:30 Mon-Fri ( usually finishing at 1 on Fridays) .

A message from the family of Chelsea:

It is with heavy hearts and crying eyes that we share the news of Chelseas passing this morning.

Chelsea was a beloved family member in our home for more than a decade and whilst she didn’t start her life with us, we are honoured to be the ones to see her grow old. Her four human children are going to miss her so dearly.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all staff, customers, and visitors of the nursery over the last 10 years for always putting a smile on Chelseas face and making her the most loved dog a family could ask for. She was loved by everyone she met and she loved everyone unconditionally - especially children! She was always there to greet you whether it was first thing in the morning or last minute before closing, she took her job of ‘official customer greeter’ very seriously.

Chelsea is now resting easy and pain free 💖

Our Story

Birnam Nursery is a family owned and operated business 40 minutes south of Perth, WA. Started many, many years ago by Bob Bentley, the business is now owned and run by his eldest son, Terry Bentley. The business started out in Canning Vale and 17 years ago, moved out to Oakford. We specialize in indoor plants and hanging baskets. We also have a wide range of ferns, succulents, gardenias, and flowering plants. While we still grow and supply Azaleas, we have recently been focusing more on Dieffenbachia’s, Cordyline’s, Calathea’s, Senecio’s, and other indoor stock. Being a small business we have a close knit group of staff who are all extremely hard working and friendly. We are a strictly **wholesale only** nursery. However, you can find our stock at your local Bunnings Warehouse and Big W, as well as; Bar Botanik, Little Leaf Co, Creation Landscape and Supplies, Stackwood, Hass & Co Botanics, The Elephant and Fiddle, The Outdoor Collective, Bunbury Farmers Market - and many other plant retailers!
