A customer engaged us to perform a leak test, system repair, and provide a second opinion after concerns with previous work. The initial technician, likely a Cert II holder or electrician, had relocated the condenser unit to allow for the construction of a pathway.

Unfortunately, the disconnection of the condenser was not carried out correctly, resulting in the complete loss of refrigerant and unnecessary additional costs for the customer.

Our team conducted a thorough nitrogen pressure test, carefully leak-tested all flares and the system itself, and left the system under pressure to confirm no further leaks. We then fully evacuated the system to remove all air and moisture from the pipework and system components.

The system was recharged with the manufacturer-specified refrigerant and correct charge weight. During servicing, we also identified that the return air was completely blocked, significantly impacting system performance.

This situation highlights the importance of booking a qualified Certificate III refrigeration technician to ensure the job is done properly the first time.

Installation of 2x 2.5kw Mitsubishi Electric
wall hung splits for our client located in Berwick.

Client is now keeping cool this summer in the master bedroom & music room.

Required the outdoor unit to be wall mounted on a wall bracket up above the clothes line to avoid taking up space on the walk way of the back yard. Another customer to be kept cool this summer ❄️

Another happy client, new home owners to the property found there split system to be dirty and smelly. Completed a full service and inspection of the split system. Found the inside of the unit to be dirty, Fan barrel requiring cleaning.

Removed and completed a deep clean to the fan barrel, inside of the unit & a sanitised coil clean.

Completed a further inspection on the operation of the system to find the system to be slightly underperforming due to a small refrigerant leak, identified leak and repaired system.

System is now performing correctly, efficiently as it should.

Another happy client and quick turn around to keep Cool ❄️ this Summer ☀️
This client had an old system that the compressor had mechanically seized causing the system to not cool or heat. So we have supplied and installed a new system!

Due to the pipes ran internally in the wall at frame up stage, we have ran fresh new copper pipes externally in near capping.

In this situation with a failed compressor, we don’t recommend re-using the old pipe work for the following reason

- Suspected damaged / contaminables inside systems pipe work causing the compressor to fail mechanically.
- New unit Refrigerant is R32 and old system is R410a with pipes, not suiting the new units specs oil base etc.
- A new install/ with new fresh pipe work, prolongs the life of the a/c unit. A nice clean systems pipe work Results in the system working 100% for what want achieve for, for everyone.

Disconnect reconnect to the new a/c unit
Found water inside external isolator, replaced isolator, found water inside all power cable conduit and interconnect cables, require draining out all water in conduit, drying and inspected cables, supply and replacing all conduit for a dry clean electrical cables before connecting up to the clients new a/c unit.

Here are some photos of a finished wall split system installation in a living space providing cooling and heating needs.

Note if your central heater doesn’t have a zoning system installed, you can use your wall split for heating if your not wanting to heat every room in the house.

Even in winter if you use your split system they require to be serviced at some point, better yet to have it ready for all seasons.

Servicing helps prolong the life of the system, reducing running costs on your electricity bills. If it isn’t maintained it can cost you more to run and get low performance.
