This week, I undertook a brief visit to Melbourne, courtesy of an invitation from one of our suppliers to inspect their two mills.

We are so excited to be involved in the conservation of the historic, heritage listed Windy Station Woolshed.
This is more than just a building, it's a cornerstone of Australian pastoral history. Built in 1901.
We cannot wait to see as the woolshed evolves from a working relic of the past into a preserved icon of Australian Heritage.

We have recently provided Durability Class 1 Australian Hardwood for constructing a robust post and rail fence that frames the front of the property!

Notable species within this classification include Tallowwood, Grey and Red Ironbark, White Mahogany, and Forest Redgum.

Class 1 timbers are particularly suited for projects exposed to the elements, especially in wet and rainy conditions. While timber longevity increases with dryness, Class 1 timbers offer the most durable option for projects that will be weather-exposed.
