What’s been happening at ChaLou lately.

As part of Orange W**e Festival, we’re joining Fiorini’s again for an evening celebrating Italian cooking, good w**e and the people behind them.

For those who haven’t visited, Fiorini’s is a newly hatted restaurant here in Orange, owned by Kelly Nogarotto, with a talented team including chef Simonn Hawke.

Just 50 guests will come together across four communal tables for a generous Italian menu, with plenty of good things to share. We’ll be pairing the courses with a selection of ChaLou w**es.

We’re really looking forward to this one. Hope you can join us.

Thursday 22 October | 6pm for a 6:30pm start
$200 per person, including dinner and paired w**es.

We’re thrilled to announce that our 2023 Syrah has been named in Halliday W**e Companion’s Top 100 W**es for 2026, among the best Australian reds under $50.

This is such an incredible recognition of this w**e and we could not be prouder!

Savoury and bright, with ripe red berries and velvety tannin. A crowd favourite for good reason.

We kept a small amount tucked away in the cellar and this felt like the right time to bring it back out.

What’s Pouring. The Union Bank.

Lou Sparkling Arneis and tuna crudo. A very good place to start.

Fresh, bright and a little savoury, Lou is very good alongside the tuna, hot sauce and sesame. Plenty of freshness, a bit of texture and just what you want with a little heat.

Pull up a chair in the courtyard, order the crudo and start with a glass of Lou. You’ll probably want another.

It’s been a while between drinks so we thought it was time for a catch up.

Join us for an aperitivo takeover at Claret Club with Nadja of ChaLou W**es and Sam Renzaglia of Renzaglia W**es, pouring a selection of their w**es alongside something delicious from the kitchen.

We’ll be in the w**e bar from 4–5.30pm and would love to see you all.

We’ve made a few changes to the seasonal tasting list to match the beautiful spring weather, the deck is looking pretty inviting and hopefully the sunshine sticks around.

We’ll be pouring all long weekend. Come by for a tasting, take in the view and spend a little time with us.

Spring is in full bloom around here. Warmer days, new growth and plenty of jobs to keep us busy as the season gets underway.

Keeping on top of things, one job at a time.

Orange W**e Festival is just around the corner.

We’ll be out and about throughout the festival, pouring at the Night Market, taking over the w**e list at Summer St W**e Room and joining fellow producers at Sip & Savour.
