There are plenty of opportunities to raise a glass with Colmar Estate throughout the festival, including the chance to taste our trophy-winning 2023 Block 6 Riesling, recently crowned Best Riesling at the 2026 Orange W**e Show.

A little good news from the Orange W**e Show 🏆

Our 2023 Block 6 Riesling took home Gold + the Trophy for Best Riesling, making it two years running for a Colmar Riesling.

And our 2015 Méthode Traditionnelle L.D. picked up another Gold, the 15th of its career.

Very proud of these two, and thrilled to see another great showing for Orange w**e.

Miso crab toast with torched grapefruit, poached Moreton Bay bug with fondant potato, grilled bluefin tuna with truffle & mushroom risotto, and rhubarb panna cotta to finish.

There’s a hint of spring in the air, but out in the vineyard, we’re still firmly in winter mode. ✂️🍇

Pruning is well underway at Colmar Estate, with each vine cut back by hand in preparation for the growing season ahead.

It’s quiet, methodical work, but an important part of setting the vineyard up for another vintage. Before long, these bare rows will be green again. 🌱

The final bottles of something very special. 💛

Our 2023 Block 5 Riesling is almost gone.

Born from the cool, late 2023 vintage and hand-picked from Block 5, this beautiful Riesling went on to receive 96 points from The Real Review, plus the Trophy at the Orange W**e Show.

Every Colmar w**e is a snapshot of its vintage, shaped by that particular season, harvest and fruit. We’ll make another Block 5 Riesling, but we’ll never make the 2023 again.
