The ATO isn't letting this one go.

Four more people have been sentenced under Operation Protego for fraudulently obtaining over $500,000 — registering ABNs, creating fake businesses, and lodging BAS for refunds they were never entitled to.

If you've seen "easy ATO refund" tips on social media, that's not a loophole. It's fraud.

Fuel Cost Pressure & ATO
Fuel costs have been on the rise—and it’s putting real pressure on businesses.

Many will be adversely impacted by the current fuel crisis. The government is looking to support those adversely impacted small businesses with some temporary relief measures in their dealings with the ATO.

The ATO has confirmed temporary support measures to assist those impacted.

Adjustments to PAYG instalments
