Developing the next generation of seafarers, one cadet at a time âš“

The MinRes Marine Cadet Program offers deck and engine pathways and combines financial support with real sea time, giving aspiring mariners the opportunity to learn and work toward formal maritime qualifications.

The five cadets in the inaugural intake have collectively spent more than 600 days at sea, including on MinRes' transhippers, internal voyages on cruise ships and delivery voyages for MinRes vessels.

The Cadet Program is natural extension of our marine operation, which involves innovative transhippers ferrying 20,000 tonnes of iron ore 40km offshore to awaiting ocean going vessels.

For children and their families facing a hospital visit, a calm and purpose-built space can make all the difference.

We're proud to have funded a new dedicated paediatric ultrasound suite at Fiona Stanley Hospital through our donation to Telethon7 Perth.

Designed exclusively for children, the suite will offer safer, faster and more accurate diagnostics for almost 2,000 young patients each year, from premature babies through to 16-year-olds.

Our $388,000 contribution forms part of our $2 million donation to Telethon last year and continues a long-term commitment that has seen MinRes donate $16.5 million over the past decade.

Production is ramping-up at our Lamb Creek iron ore project in the Pilbara following major construction by our in-house Engineering and Construction team.

Our Titan dump truck tray was designed, engineered, manufactured and tested by CSI Mining Services at our Hazelmere workshop.

That makes MinRes the first Australian mining company to develop its own tray with full control of design and engineering.
