Lets Rip into this one!

Welcome Matt to the team!

Another like-minded fitter joining us. We wish you all the best in your new role and look forward to seeing the plans and goals you’ll be undertaking with us at Boremetrics.

Welcome aboard, Matt!

1. Are you a local?
(If not, where did you move from?)

Im unfortunately not local but hoping to become a local since I now live here permanently 😅, I moved my family & myself from Newcastle NSW to live the QLD dream.

2. What made you join Boremetrics?

I instantly hit it off with the directors of the company, and genuinely believe that great minds think alike & iv been given an opportunity that I couldn't say no to!

3. What kind of work do you enjoy most?

I actually enjoy the hard yards especially night shift, swinging tools and teaching young fellas new techniques!

4. What’s something you like about living and working in North Queensland?

That's a silly question and a no brainer....THE FISHING!!! I live and dream fishing, I'm glad to get away from the cold weather down south and the terrible fishing, what makes it better is that my family love it here!

5. What’s one thing you’re proud of — at work or outside of it?

My family, especially my two boys & my wonderful better half!! Without them I wouldn't be person I have become today,... from where I was 6years ago to where I am now is an absolute milestone!

6. Favourite tool, job, or part of the day on site?

Combined into one, I'm a tool myself so that I can't answer,...but I love the banter, the blokes I work with and the new things I learn everyday from the people I work alongside, no matter how old you get you'll aways learn new things each and every day!
