The red necklace is a Samoan Ula Fala is made from the fruit of the Pandanus Tree. Dried; then it is maintained by painting it red or varnish (which is why you will see them to be brown at times too) to give it a vibrant shade and shine.

I’ve had a few people ask about side cakes. In Samoan culture at weddings side cakes are often given back to the faifeau (minister/priest), matai’s (cheifs), and to both sides of the family as a thanks from the bride & groom. They’re not for the guest to eat (well the main cake usually is!)

Been MIA the last few months, so here's a
quick reel of pics I did take of some cakes! If you have any pics of your cakes, feel free to send them through as ya girls out of content due to nearly dying every weekend after scraping your cakes together 😵‍💫

Just a PSA, I'm off on maternity leave sometime from October & at this stage unsure when I'll be back 🫶🏾🌞

If you need a cake this month, chances are I'm already booked out 😵‍💫 August looks kind of less busy.If you're in need for September, high chances you're out of luck as everyone is getting married, I'm scared to be 7 months pregnant making 5 tier wedding cakes 😂
