🐴 We’re Hiring – Horse Strapper / Stable Hand

Love horses and enjoy working in a hands-on environment? We’d love to hear from you!

Location: P***n Creek (near Rathdowney)

Duties include, but are not limited to:

* Washing horses
*Plaiting manes and tails
* Saddling horses
* Catching, rugging and general horse handling
* Grooming and day-to-day stable duties
* Assisting with the care and preparation of performance horses

What we’re looking for:

* Genuine love of horses
* Reliable and hardworking
* Confident handling horses (experience preferred but the right attitude is most important)
* Current driver’s licence and own reliable transport

If you enjoy working around quality performance horses and want to be part of a supportive team, this could be the job for you.

Congratulations to my good mate Mike Adamson and Amy on their horse Nu Bit Of Magic taking out the Pacific Coast Open Futurity!

It was a great final. JN Pastoral’s Nu It Was U held the lead until Matt Clifford put down a great run and took over the top spot. I knew I had to go out there and lay it all on the line with Zeus, and he sure delivered.

I had a penalty for a fall out of lead that had me worried, but I knew he had some big manoeuvres in the bank. Thankfully the judges rewarded the quality of the run, and we managed to get the lead back by just half a point.

I’m incredibly proud of both horses and grateful for the opportunity to show them.

A huge thank you to Reining Queensland for putting on another fantastic event, and congratulations to all the competitors who made for a great futurity.
