Meet Angus - our graduate agronomist.

Angus grew up on a family farm in Upper Hunter, NSW and has always had a passion for agriculture. He brings a fresh new perspective to our lineup, having completed a Bachelor of Science and Advanced Studies from the University of Sydney,

Angus completed an honours project on optimising camera sprayers and has been helpful throughout our recent push into Precision Agriculture.

Angus worked for 3 years as a Commodities Advisor in Sydney before moving out to Peak Hill to help on a mates Dual Purpose cropping farm. Angus enjoys people side of Agronomy as much as the technical side. Working with growers, understanding how their businesses operate, and helping them make practical decisions throughout the season.

If not on a mates tractor somewhere, or stuck in a bog, you’ll find Angus on the golf course or back in Scone, spending time with friends and family.

Some very timely rain has been recorded across parts of the Central West.

These shots were taken west of Peak Hill after receiving over 120mm in two weeks — an amazing turnaround and a welcome start to the season for many.

At the same time, we know plenty of areas are still chasing rain; we hope those who have missed out get some under the next rain events.
