We’d love to take all the credit, but apparently “timely rain” and "hard work” had something to do with it too.😅

Last month, we had the pleasure of hosting Harry Tobin from St Stanislaus College, Bathurst, for a week of work experience.

Harry spent the week alongside John, getting stuck into a variety of hands-on agronomy tasks — from planting a pasture demonstration and conducting deep nitrogen soil tests, to inspecting early crop emergence and catching the tail end of the summer corn harvest.

Most importantly, Harry learned how to nail the iconic agronomist paddock pose (see below)!

A big thank you to Harry for his enthusiasm and interest in agriculture. We wish you all the best with your HSC for the rest of the year!
