Have you ever looked back on a funeral or memorial and felt a quiet pang of: 'Something was missing’?

Have you ever thought:
I wish we'd done something differently.
I wish I'd had the chance to say something.
Something still feels unfinished.

I'm looking for 8-10 adults who have experienced this to take part in a Ritual Repair Workshop, exploring what might have made a meaningful difference.

Through guided discussion and reflective activities, we'll explore what felt missing and consider ritual repair: simple symbolic acts, conversations or small acknowledgements that can add meaning after a funeral has taken place.

Two-hour online facilitated workshop

MEMENTO MORI - Dying to Know day 2026

Mark Albers
16/7/1957 - 6/8/2026

After a strong fight against brain cancer, Mark Albers passed away peacefully at his home, comforted by his daughters, brother and beloved dog.

After a lifetime of adventure, Mark chose American River, which he affectionately named ‘Yankee Creek’, as his piece of paradise and place of peaceful retirement where he was fondly dubbed the ‘bandanna man’.

Thank you to all for their friendship and support for Mark. There will be a private service for immediate family.

Helen Sheridan
11/10/37 - 30/7/26

With great sadness, Helen's family wish to advise of her passing in Port Pirie recently.

Helen will be deeply missed for her kindness, warmth, welcoming sense of humour, and her extraordinary service to our community.

Her generosity and friendship touched many lives.

Family and friends are warmly invited to celebrate Helen's life at a memorial service on Sunday August 16th, 1pm at the Parndana Sports Club.

It's a challenge but nevertheless it's so, so important to listen carefully, read between the lines, and pay attention to what isn't being said.

An interesting, inspiring and reflective day at 'Death Down Under' - the Australian Death Studies Society & Death Tech Australia's symposium at Melbourne University. Applauding the academic exploration of all things Death related and, of course, an opportunity to be in the room with those I deeply admire and draw inspiration from. Lots of good questions.......
