A free weekly briefing on what actually moved on the Western Australian tenement register. The first issue is live.
Not company announcements. Ground.
This week:
- 30,425 tenements live or pending across the state
- 10 registered transfers, 12 holders releasing ground, 5 companies new to WA
- Tali Exploration handed back 123,070 ha in the East Pilbara, the largest package back on the market
- Coolgardie drew the most new applications, 12 from 7 different holders
The sections I built it for are further down. Ground already surrendered with no competing application showing on the register. Five parcels with real scheduled release dates between 7 and 21 August. And who picked up whose dropped ground, and how fast: Red Centre pegged 52,314 ha in the East Pilbara, almost all of it ground Agrimin released three to eight days earlier.
That last one is the whole thesis. Tenure in WA is nuggety. Follow the ground, not the company.
The timing is accidental, but it will do. Half the industry is in Kalgoorlie this week talking about deals. This is the register underneath the deals.
Built from public DMPE data plus our own feeds, published every week. Verify against the register before you act on anything, as always.
