Today, our Year 11 Hospitality students came together at Peak Hill Central School to participate in two busy service periods, putting their hospitality skills into practice.
Students are continuing to develop their communication, teamwork and customer service skills, working together to deliver the best possible experience for their customers.
Throughout the day, students worked on their mise en place, prepared and served a range of food and beverages, and catered for specialty orders and individual customer requirements.
It was fantastic to see everyone working together, communicating and gaining valuable hands-on experience.
Well done, team!

What an amazing adventure Mrs Lindsay had supporting our NBSA student Jink who is studying in our program.

Yesterday, our Year 12 Hospitality students put their skills to the test by completing a live service period as part of their current espresso coffee unit.
Students prepared and served a range of barista-style beverages while developing their speed, consistency, customer service and teamwork in a real hospitality environment.
A big thank you to everyone Peak Hill Central School who supported our students by ordering a coffee and sweet treat.

Yesterday, our Year 11 Construction students were busy developing their practical joining skills under the guidance of VET Trainer Mrs Johnson. From measuring and marking to creating strong, accurate joints, students are continuing to build the hands-on skills and confidence needed for the construction industry.
Meanwhile, Mr Watt worked one-on-one with Emma as she progressed the CAD drawings for her Industrial Technology Major Project.
Well done to everyone involved!

Students are encouraged to check the timetable carefully and note the dates and times of all their examinations. Head Teachers will ensure that all students receive a hard copy of their timetable.
