I wonder what these very large numbers of revenue raising are here in the budget papers?

Decisions taken but not yet announced and not for publication... let that sink in... revenue is raised pretty much in only one way these days... taxes.

By 2030 these measures are bringing in more than double the receipts that are anticipated under the current tax system plus the proposed budget changes.

A very interesting Diary of a CEO podcast with Pierre Poilievre covering a number of current issues, including a chapter on why you can't buy a house, how AI will affect employment and an understanding of how GDP affects you personally. Even though a lot of this is about Canada, it is applied to the rest of the world. A very interesting man.
