☑️Great conversations
☑️A whole lot of future mining talent

The Byrnecut team had a fantastic day at the CME Inspiring Girls Forum, chatting with students about what it’s really like to work in underground mining.

There were plenty of questions (some tough ones!), lots of laughs and hopefully a few moments where someone thought, “I could actually do that.”

Whether it’s operating some seriously impressive machinery, engineering the impossible or building a career that takes you around the world, mining is full of opportunities and we’re passionate about helping the next generation discover them.

A huge thanks to the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of WA for creating such an inspiring event. If we managed to change a few perceptions and inspire a few future careers, we’d call that a pretty good day’s work.

We recently had the pleasure of welcoming 25 students from the WA Mining Club's Get into Mining program to Byrnecut. 🌟

It was fantastic to meet so many enthusiastic young people who are exploring future careers in the mining and resources industry. Programs like this provide valuable opportunities for students to gain insight into the industry, ask questions and learn more about the many pathways available within mining.

During their visit to Byrnecut HQ, students explored our state-of-the-art Training Centre and heard directly from our people about the innovation, technology and expertise that drive our operations every day.

A big thank you to the students who joined us and to the WA Mining Club for making the experience possible. We loved sharing what we do and look forward to seeing many of these bright young people become part of the future of our industry. 💙⛏️
